TOASTMASTERS YLP

Improve your public speaking and professional skills!
All Hebron students invited - no experience necessary!
Come see what the PTSA’s Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is about. You can try it out at a virtual meeting Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9:30am. Sign in with Zoom meeting id 354-210-4305 and password vb2020.

In the course of 8 workshops over 4 months you’ll learn valuable skills including:
-
Overcoming nervousness when speaking before an audience.
-
Organizing and presenting ideas logically and convincingly.
-
Listening carefully to others’ ideas.
-
Offering advice to help others improve their speaking and leadership skills.
-
Participating in - and even leading - group discussion or meetings.
-

Starting November 1, virtual meetings will run the first and third Sunday mornings of the month for a total of 8 meetings. The meetings will be led by Hebron parents and will soon be run by the students themselves. Parents are invited to the November 15 demonstration meeting also to ask questions. PTSA’s TYL is also sponsored by Leidos.
